I’ve taken lessons with Soo for over two months now, and she is a great teacher! What I like the most about her teaching is how structured each lesson is, so we cover a lot in a short amount of time. I learn dozens of new vocab in just one hour. And by “learning”, I mean that 쑤선생님 not only teaches me the meaning of each word, but also its usage with lots of example sentences. I also practice using the new words myself. 쑤선생님 also teaches by dissecting the clauses of complex sentences. Sometimes it's difficult for me to grasp the meaning of long sentences, but 쑤선생님 helps me break such sentences into manageable chunks that I can understand individually, and then we put the pieces back together to understand the whole sentence with clarity. 쑤 선생님's methods are efficient, effective, and enjoyable. I recommend her!

Ssoo 선생님 is always well-prepared for class. Today I did free talking about job hunting in Korea, Germany, and America, and even though it was just free talking, Ssoo 선생님 prepared a slide deck with topics and vocabulary to help the conversation go smoothly. It's also very easy to speak in Korean with Ssoo 선생님 because she's friendly and good at making conversation. Looking forward to more lessons!

Another fun lesson where we studied colloquial expressions from a Webtoon. I'm always grateful for 쑤 선생님's thorough preparation for each lesson. She prepares a Power Point with clear and concise explanations of the grammar and vocab I had questions about, and then class consists of briefly going over those explanations while still making sure I understand and then focusing on making my own sentences to practice them. 쑤 선생님's classes are well-structured, which I really like, and 쑤 선생님 herself fun to talk to too.

Ssoo was super focused the whole lesson making sure we get through as much as possible but definitely making sure we get some repetition in so it sticks.

Another fun Webtoon lesson with 쑤 선생님! I sent her questions beforehand about some very native-sounding grammar points and idioms, and she prepared detailed yet concise explanations about their meanings. She also prepared many example sentences that helped me get the feel for when these phrases would be used. During class, I practiced making sentences with what I just learned. 쑤 선생님 was very encouraging and helped me make my sentences more native-like.

Today was my first lesson with 쑤 선생님 in five months, and she was amazing as always! Before class, I read an episode of a Webtoon and wrote and my questions on a Google Doc. 쑤 선생님 prepared a PowerPoint answering my questions, and we went through her explanations during class. Her explanations were clear, concise, and conveyed the nuances of each expression, so I got a good feel for the words. I also made many of my own sentences with the words I had questions about, which helped me internalize them. 쑤 선생님 is always prepared and very friendly. Highly recommend :)
