Elisa Baronio

Elisa is an excellent teacher of conversation. She brings up new topics and does not interrupt the flow of conversation to make corrections but takes note of errors. I find this very helpful to my ability to converse. I enjoy working with her and learning from her knowledge of Italian.

I’m learning Italian from scratch. I’ve already had 4 lessons with Elisa, one per week. She always prepares perfect materials for each lesson. During the lesson, she explains grammar very thoroughly, then we do exercises where I get immediate feedback. The exercises we don’t finish in class, I complete as homework, and Elisa corrects them remotely. It works absolutely great and motivates me to study during the week.

I always get my moneys worth when I take a lesson with Elisa. I learn new words, new grammar, I am challenged every time. And I enjoy the whole hour. I always look forward to the next lesson.

We had a good conversation. She was very patient and made corrections at appropriate times. She let me make mistakes than work through them. Thank you.

Grazie ad Elisa sto recuperando tutte quelle lacune che mi aveva causato la mia precedente insegnante e sono fiduciosa che questa volta il mio esame andrà alla grande! Nonostante non ci siamo viste per le due settimane delle vacanze natalizie, entrambe abbiamo visto piccoli, ma importanti miglioramenti e io stessa mi sento molto più sicura nel parlare inglese. Il che è importante, perché parlare di letteratura e storia non è affatto facile se non hai una base adeguata, ma se hai accanto la persona giusta, l'impegno viene davvero ripagato!
