Hello! My name is Callista, a native English speaker and a professional TEFL certified English teacher with a B.Sc from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Learn English with a passionate, patient, lively and easy-going tutor. I have over 10 years of teaching experience with a TEFL Certificate from TEFL professional institute. I also have a bachelor of Science degree from the prestigious University of Lagos, Nigeria.
I teach English. I am very good in written and spoken English. I am easy going and very patient when I teach. This helps me to make sure that the learners fully assimilate what I teach them. In terms of teaching methodology, I use the direct method of teaching, also known as the natural method of teaching a foreign language through conversation, discussion and reading in the language itself.
This way of teaching English proceeds from simple to complex, concrete to abstract.
I also have a student-centered approach that focuses on engaging and interactive lessons.
