Hallo! I’m Maronel, a bilingual educator from South Africa with a passion for bringing the vibrant rhythms of Afrikaans and English to life. Growing up on a citrus farm in the Eastern Cape and living across three provinces, I developed a deep appreciation for the cultural heart of language. With a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Linguistics and an Honours in Psychology, I don’t just teach—I apply the science of learning to help you master a new language with confidence and ease. With over two years of experience and a TEFL certification, I specialize in creating a supportive, high-energy environment where students feel empowered to speak from day one. Maronel is the best! Each lesson is tailored toward my progress. She is patient and fun. The lessons are a personalized mix of grammar and sentence structure, but also fun things like reading or role-playing so it never gets boring or overwhelming. Highly recommend!
