WOW! This was my first lesson with Teacher Wen, and it exceeded all of my expectations. She came to class incredibly well prepared, patient, and encouraging from the very beginning. Before our lesson, she had already read my notes about why I wanted to learn Chinese and how shy I am when speaking in public. That thoughtful preparation immediately made me feel understood. Her approach to teaching conversational Chinese and helping me sound more like a native speaker was refreshing and effective. She quickly eased my nerves, built my confidence, and made speaking and reading feel enjoyable instead of intimidating. I also appreciated how adaptable she was. She noticed that I sometimes struggle to put words together and adjusted her teaching style to match the way I learn. I previously studied on Preply, but this experience was on another level. I'm so glad I trusted the platform's recommendation after completing my profile because I truly found the best 老师 (lǎoshī). Highly recommended!!!
