I've been studying Chinese for around three years now, and my main goal is to improve my conversational fluency. Nana makes every lesson fun and low-pressure, which takes so much of the anxiety out of speaking a new language. We use the new HSK book as a guide for our topics. What I appreciate most is how closely she listens to my questions and how encouraging she is, whether I get an answer right or just take a good guess at what a word means. That kind of positive reinforcement has made me so much more willing to just try and speak, even when I'm not sure I'm right. I'd highly recommend Nana to anyone looking for a supportive and enjoyable way to build real conversational Chinese skills.

I really enjoy my lessons with Nana. I like that she always comes prepared with a lesson, so that every class feels structured. She's been using roleplay to teach me how to do practical things like order drinks/food. At the same time, she helps me improve my speaking, discover new words, learn interesting pieces of Chinese culture, and more. Most importantly, I feel confident and relaxed during the lessons.
