Lucía Rodríguez

Lucia is a fantastic Spanish teacher and language partner! She is very personable, patient, and skilled with beginner language learners like me. Our sessions are almost completely conversational, which is perfect for my hands-on learning style, and are always fun and engaging! She is well-educated, and the variety of complex topics we cover really helps develop my vocabulary and my ability to construct sentences and thoughts. She corrects grammar, provides study material, and is highly punctual and reliable. I have personally noticed an improvement in my Spanish since our time together, and I continue to look forward to every lesson. I highly recommend Lucia for anyone learning Spanish, one of the best teachers I have met on Italki.

Lucía is an enthusiastic teacher and a great conversation partner. Her charisma, confidence, and passion for teaching were evident from the first lesson! She is intelligent and well-read, which enables her to converse on a wide range of topics. She also has a great sense of humor, which really makes the time fly during our conversations. Her corrections are timely and well-delivered, so that I never feel embarrassed about making mistakes. As an intermediate Spanish speaker I seldom choose to participate in structured activities with my tutors, but she piqued my interest by offering me materials that were specific to my interests. I am very happy to have met Lucía, and I look forward to spending a lot of time with her.
