I had the pleasure of taking a Spanish lesson with Sofia today, and I can confidently say she is one of the best teachers I’ve come across on Italki. I’ve been meeting with various tutors for conversational practice, but Sophia truly stood out. From the very beginning, the session was warm, welcoming, and engaging. Sofia is hands down the best Spanish tutor I’ve ever worked with. because of a culture based class we had—I cannot stop thinking about buñuelos now. The way they described them made it feel like I could taste them through the screen, and now they’re permanently on my mind. Beyond that, their classes are engaging, fun, and full of personality. They have a great way of bringing culture into the lesson in a way that actually sticks with you (clearly!).
