Hello, my name is Qi, and it means gems. I come from Dalian, a beautiful coastal city in China, and currently reside in Beijing, the capital of China. I enjoy traveling, food, movies, history, and sports. I have been to countries such as Austria, France, Australia, and the Netherlands. I have also been to many cities in China, including Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Xishuangbanna, and Xi'an. I can provide you with a lot of travel advice. I have experience in vis à vis Chinese teaching and foreign language learning. I personally enjoy Kate's lessons as she makes learning mandarin both enjoyable and rewarding. Kate was my first Chinese teacher on italki, and I really enjoyed our lesson. She was really friendly and was proactive in giving examples. She was also detailed when it comes to pronunciation and tone, which is essential when learning Chinese. She can also speak English well, so I can mix up English and Chinese
