I am an Australian living in Cambodia. I have been living and working in different countries primarily in International Development. I am an experienced Social Worker and have worked extensively in government and the Not For Profit sector in Australia and Asia for over 15 years. I have experience mentoring and supervising students, new graduates, social workers, and international development workers including those from a non English speaking background. I am also an English language tutor with experience working online and in person in many different countries. I have over 10 years experience in supervising, mentoring, training, and capacity building with people working in social work, welfare and not for profit, and international development. I also have 3 years experience working as an online ESL tutor. I offer social work mentoring and supervision, and English language tutoring. My mentoring and supervision style is adaptable to your needs. I can develop a structured plan with clear goals and outcomes. I can also be more flexible and spontaneous addressing goals and concerns as they arise. Or a combination of both. I can also offer support and guidance for students and workers newly arrived to Australia. My teaching style is flexible according to your needs. We can have relaxed a conversation based lessons or a more structured class. To stay motivated to learn a language you need to enjoy it so I aim to make sure our lessons are interesting as well as educational.
