Hi! My name is Chris and I come from Ireland. I have a Master’s degree in European Studies, which I obtained in Sweden. I then went on to live in Belgium and France where I worked for European Institutions. I have also previously worked for the British Council in Belgium. I speak French and Swedish (sometimes badly!). I love the diverse experiences and interesting people that language learning and living internationally have allowed me to find. I really enjoy helping people in English and seeing them improve.
I was born in the UK and I speak both British-English and Irish-English dialects.
I am a TQUK Level 5 TEFL qualified English teacher.

I have recently qualified as a TEFL English teacher.
I use a Communicative Method that focuses on discussion and communication. We will use authentic content in our lessons. I focus on content that you want to look at because it is important that content is interesting and relevant to you.
I think that it is easier to learn when you enjoy the lessons and when you are having fun. I want to make sure that our lessons are fun and enjoyable and that you are calm and relaxed. I also aim to make sure that our lessons go at a pace that suits you (not too fast and too slow).Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
In my lessons, I use a Communicative Method that focuses on discussion and communication. We will talk about and analyse “real world” content that interests you.
Content such as:
- Music
- YouTube
- Books
- Newspapers
- Podcasts
It is always more enjoyable when content is interesting and relevant to you. I encourage you to tell me what type of content you want to look at.
I adapt our lessons to specific needs/goals you have. For example: a focus on grammar or specific language skills (e.g., reading).
My lessons are best suited for students who are intermediate or advanced (B1-C2) who want to improve speaking and listening.Sertifikalar
