Xiaolei is a wonderful Chinese teacher! When I first started learning with her, I was very scared because of my general lack of knowledge about Mandarin and my pronunciation. But she's been very kind and patient with me, and I'm starting to slowly get better with my vocab and speaking. Her class is also fun because I get to practice speaking Korean as well, so we get to talk in English, Korean, and some Mandarin (which I aim to keep improving)! :)

It went great! She was well prepared with visuals for my children. They enjoyed their lesson. We look forward to more lessons with her. She is engaged and desires to create a fun lesson for them. She is always trying to improve her lessons.

Today, we had our first Chinese lesson, in Korean. I enjoy taking lessons with teachers who speak two of my target languages. She spoke clearly and at an appropriate level for me. We powered through the first 4 lessons of HSK 1 since I already have some basic familiarity with A1 Chinese. She gave me extra tips on grammar and vocabulary to sound more natural/correct. She wrote down a few words I asked about as well. She is friendly, and I will take more lessons with her. 谢谢您!

Amazing teacher, she makes learning Chinese so much fun! She can speak Korean so we get to also practice my Korean while learning Chinese which is honestly a plus.

I chose Xiaolei because she teaches both Mandarin Chinese and Korean. We had a great conversational Korean lesson, speaking almost exclusively in Korean. She was very patient with me as I tried to word things or look them up on Naver. She asked me good questions to keep the conversation flowing and was friendly with a sense of humor. And she has a cat too! I will definitely take more lessons with her :)
