I have 7 years of teaching experience on Italki and 2 years of teaching experience outside this platform. Hence I have plentiful teaching experience for those who are both beginner and advanced level students.
I like to explain as concisely as possible with real-life examples. I am not a strict teacher but I do make sure to give a cyber slap to those who didn't do their homework (just kidding). Instead, I try my best to have fun during the lesson as I know how hard it is to study a foreign language.

My lesson style is very casual. I use all kinds of study materials (ebook/documents/homework) that I can offer. I am also working with 동화책 (fairy tale books), and so far it seems my students enjoy reading them with me :)
For beginners, I mainly focus on providing a solid foundation of grammar first (so you can build sentences bit by bit) and vocabulary. For those intermediate and advanced students, I focus a lot on more subtle stuff like pronunciation, nuance, etc. (we will build many many sentences together)

Today’s class was soooo much fun!! Jinju answered so many of my questions about Korea, the culture, the history, and the different neighborhoods and cities. After one month off, I came back to class and just as expected, I had so much fun!!! We went over what we had seen last class, and I learnt so many new things - kept asking Jinju many many questions because I was so immersed,
