Olá! My name is Carlos, and I’m passionate about helping beginner and intermediate students learn Portuguese with confidence. I was born in Brazil and now live in England, which gives me a unique perspective on learning and teaching languages. I’m fluent in both Portuguese and English, and I’m currently learning Spanish and Hebrew—so I understand the challenges and joys of language learning firsthand. Outside of teaching, I love reading, travelling, going to the gym, and practising Karate. I believe learning should be engaging, practical, and enjoyable, and I’m excited to share the beauty of the Portuguese language and culture with you.

I’m a qualified Portuguese teacher, graduated from the Federal University of Paraíba in Brazil, with experience teaching Portuguese private lessons to English-speaking students.

My teaching style is supportive, patient, and adaptive—I adjust lessons based on your progress and interests, making sure learning is both enjoyable and effective. Whether you’re learning for travel, work, conversation, or personal enrichment, my goal is to help you communicate naturally.
