Maura Tisoy

Today, we talked about indigenous cultures and among many things, talked about how people are perceived in the United States vs in Colombia! I'm learning a lot from Maura outside of just Spanish. Muchas muchas gracias, Maura!

Another great lesson with Maura! Today, we talked about cultural shocks we've experienced and shared new things about one another's cultures. there were some differences but also lots of similarities!

Lessons with Maura continue to be fun. She does a great job of rephrasing sentences or questions that I don't understanding using different words so I do understand. I really enjoy the presentations she creates about the topics for our classes! Thanks, Maura!

Classes with Maura are so fun and the time flies by! I often don't feel like I'm learning Spanish. I feel like I'm having a chat with a new and super interesting friend. Today, we talked about the different myths and misconceptions about our respective countries and Maura had great insights!
