An ABSOLUTELY amazing teacher! Time flew by so fast yet I learned so much! Not just about the Lebanese dialect but also the rich culture and everyday phrases that make the language come alive. She’s by far THE BEST Italki teacher I’ve ever had, and I’ve learned several languages on Italki! She’s incredibly bubbly, resourceful and genuinely passionate about teaching. Every lesson is full of insight: not just the language itself but the subtle nuances between words and fascinating cultural details about Lebanon. I absolutely love learning with her. We had a discussion on philosophy today and had a great conversation. Safiya was very patient with me and let me talk a lot to practice! It was a great back-and-forth conversation so I was able to practice both talking and listening. I have really enjoyed getting to know Safiya through these lessons and improve my Arabic at the same time.

I’ve just started my Arabic journey with Safiya, and I’m really delighted with the lessons. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the explanations are clear and easy to follow, and the communication with her is excellent. She makes everything simple to understand, and I feel comfortable asking questions and even joking during the sessions. I definitely recommend giving her a chance and discovering this beautiful language!
