Ricardo Tapia 🦜🎖️

Ricardo has an excellent, logical method of instruction that has helped me understand, conjugate, and correctly use verb tenses - a particular problem area for me in Spanish. His exercises with irregular verbs (in the various tenses) has been extremely helpful, as they compare and contrast present/preterit/imperfect - for example. His presentations are well-organized and helpful. His techniques, along with his patience and good sense of humor, encourage me to continue learning and studying. I highly recommend Ricardo as a teacher.

Necesitaba un profesor que me ayudara a prepararme para el examen DELE, especialmente para la Prueba 4, que evalúa la expresión e interacción orales. En mi primera clase con Ricardo, me ha dado unas pautas muy útiles que puedo aplicar cuando realizo esta parte del examen. Estoy deseando aprender más trucos y estrategias en las próximas clases.

I thought I was fairly direct/clear about the fact I wanted a B1 DELE oral mock exam. I didn't want to take part in a lecture on the exam or whether I can use the subjunctive or not. I just wanted to be given a mock exam and explained my level after it. Why the classes have to become about the teacher I will never understand. I will try to learn from this and be very specific about my requirements in the future as to not cause any confusion with other teachers.
