I am a 33 years old Venezuelan. I like culture, music and arts. I play the venezuelan national instrument, the cuatro and I am very sensitive to folk and traditional music. I am a native Spanish speaker, I can speak English, Portuguese and a little bit of Italian and Japanese. I am always looking to improve the languages I speak. I am a friendly, easygoing and patient person, open to discuss any subject.

I have been teaching Spanish for four years as a private teacher. I try to explain difficult aspects of Spanish using the native language of my student whenever I can. I try to focus on the aspects the students need to improve the most and I always try to compare my student's native language with the language they are learning.

My lessons are PDFs files with content I create upon request of the student or I just prepare myself in advance to discuss about a particular subject the student may be interested in. The lessons contains exercises, grammar content and role-plays. I try that the student learns by comparison of his/her native language with the target language, rather than just repeating and memorizing.

Miguel did an outstanding job training me for the DELE exam. Obviously, the most important thing he did was to teach me Spanish, but he also helped familiarize me with format of the exam. The DELE exam can be confusing if you aren't prepared. Miguel not only helped me work through official practice exams, but went above and beyond by creating new material in the same format with topics he knew I was interested in. I felt as confident as I possibly could have going in to the exam.
