Khadim Hussain 🥰

As a heritage speaker of Pashto with a basic foundation, I'm finding Khadim very helpful for developing my confidence and introducing me to a wider range of topics. He encourages me to take the lead in lessons and does just enough to help me along when I get stuck. I have encountered a lot of sophisticated vocabulary that will help me get across more complex and interesting ideas in Pashto than I am used to. It is clear he is well educated and can readily translate ideas directly into native Pashto terms, while also providing insight into what sounds most natural and what is commonly used. While my grammar is passable, Khadim tests me with situations where I have to use complicated constructions and naturally guides me through them where I struggle. Lessons are engaging and I feel comfortable asking any question or making any request. I also feel like I am getting a lot of practice, compared with other teachers who don't give me enough opportunities to speak.
