Hi! My name is Leslie and I am from Germany where I grew up and lived until I decided that I wanted to attend university in England. After travelling to Canada and living in Australia for a few months, I felt comfortable enough to continue my journey in another English-speaking country. Studying in England opened so many possibilities for me and I want to help others to achieve the same by teaching them how to speak a foreign language (German).Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I truly believe that the best way to learn a language is to speak it. Whether you are a complete beginner or can already have a basic conversation, I think the most effective way to learn is to try to speak and listen in order to get used to a language. Additionally, I am happy to read articles and texts of your interest in German together and learn new words and become comfortable with the language this way. Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
I am very flexible in creating my lessons depending on what you want and how you learn the best. I believe that speaking is one of the most efficient ways to learn a new language. Therefore, we could go over some vocabulary and basic sentences that are needed in a specific conversation and then have a go at talking to each other. If this seems too advanced for you however, I would suggest that we read and go over texts written in german. If you are a full beginner, I am happy to first teach you some phrases, words and basic grammar to get you started.5.0

I had a great lesson with Leslie! She started by asking about my goals and learning preferences, and adapted the lesson accordingly. She waited patiently to correct me, which I really appreciated. She also gave me different ways to say the same phrase to sound more natural (and sent me the phrases afterward). She spoke at a level and pace I could easily follow, even as a beginner. Throughout the lesson, she was calm and patient, which really helps when learning a new language. If you're learning German, I highly recommend her!

Leslie war sehr freundlich und nett, wir haben viel geredet und viele interessante Themen besprochen. Sie ist auch sehr hilfreich, und bereit, die Fragen zu wiederholen, mir unbekannten Wörter zu erklären und meine Fehler zu korrigieren, ohne dass ich mich dumm fühle:) Sie machte auch Notizen, um mir die neue Wörter zu schicken, deshalb war unser freies Gespräch sehr produktiv! Ich freue mich auf eine weitere Stunde:)
