Hello, my name is Maki.
I majored in Japanese at university and studied Japanese language education. I am currently raising children, so I also know a lot about parenting in Japan. I worked for many years in the advertising industry.
I love both domestic and international travel, and my dream is to go on a trip around the world. I have a great love for anime, especially Studio Ghibli.
For intermediate learners, I also offer a special course using YouTube manga videos. In this class, we watch Japanese manga with subtitles and study together. It is recommended for who feel a little bored with ordinary lessons.

Maki is an amazing teacher! She is so patient with absolute beginners and takes the time to make sure you understand and feel comfortable with the content.
