Hi! My name is Alex. I’m 20 years old and a native English speaker from Yorkshire, England. I hold a CELTA certificate in teaching English to adults, and I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures. If you’re interested in learning with a friendly native speaker in a relaxed and supportive environment, feel free to get in touch. My passion for teaching sparked when I began working as a stallholder. I realised I genuinely enjoy communicating and explaining things to people, which then led me to my true calling: teaching! As a teacher, I’m friendly and patient. I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and practising English without pressure. I believe we learn best when lessons are enjoyable, so I work hard to make my classes interesting and engaging whilst also giving you the right level of challenge to help you improve. I like to make my lessons as student-centred and practical as possible, which means we'll focus on real-life examples and authentic materials to practise English as it's actually used. We’ll practise speaking as much as possible, while also improving listening, reading, and writing, so you can use English confidently in everyday situations. But most importantly, each lesson will be designed around your needs so that you can progress in the areas that matter most to you.

Alex is such an amazing teacher in my eyes! Though very young, his teaching methods are remarkably seasoned. To provide more targeted instruction, he gave me an English proficiency test in advance. He also fully understood my preferences in conversation topics, using them as a bridge to guide me into exploring new areas. Patiently, he explained and corrected specific issues in my spoken English. Our conversation was incredibly lively—even though he’s older than me, I feel like he’s a friend who truly gets me. I absolutely adore this guy! He’s fantastic!

Alex is an excellent teacher. He is well prepared for lesson and conducts it with great commitment and positive energy. I learnt a lot in todays lesson and studying with him, I feel that it is much easier for me to understand the language, especially native spoken English. I truly recommend him to anyone who wants to develop their English.
