👋My name is Jinha Park, and I am currently living in Canada.
I graduated from the Department of Korean Language and Literature and the Department of Korean Linguistics in South Korea. I’m someone who truly loves the Korean language and language itself. Since I am also learning new languages myself, I can teach Korean from a learner’s perspective.
I enjoy Korean movies, dramas, and K-pop, but I also like international actors and media, so I believe that finding common interests will make learning more enjoyable.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
My teaching motto is: “Learn often, and enjoy it!”
While studying a language deeply over time is important, I believe that frequent and enjoyable exposure is essential for being able to read, listen, and speak it in real life. Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
1. We first set the learning direction together — whether you need basic Hangul, grammar-only lessons, speaking practice, or preparation for an exam.
2. After that, I assess the student’s style and purpose. Even within speaking practice, the needs can be different — for example, business versus academic or casual conversation.

I had a super enjoyable class with Haley! Haley came prepared with materials and I learned a lot. She even used the webtoon I’m currently reading as the material, which I really appreciated :) It helped me understand the webtoon on a deeper level because she was able to explain nuances really well. Looking forward to our next class!

I had two weeks of great lessons with Haley before my trip to Korea - we practised a range of different scenarios of the places I will be going such as Gyeongju and Busan - with tailored made materials to my level and history. I can highly recommend her as a teacher.

Great teacher - extremely well prepared, friendly and adapts the resources to your needs. Today we did a dialogue of me renting traditional Korean costume in Seoul, which I hope to put into practice very soon!
