Great lesson with Mapati! We reviewed the sentences that I wrote about "professions" and "work vs. school". Mapati also showed how to express opinions. Mapati also explained some of the culture in Kenya, which was very interesting. Mapati is doing a nice job of avoiding complexity and introducing material at the right level of difficulty!

Great lesson with Mapati! Mapati had a good idea to describe the daily routine, and showed a video about morning routine. Based on the new vocabulary that Mapati introduced, I was able to describe my morning routine. We also learned the vocabulary for family members. Mapati really encourages and motivates me. Her lessons are very enjoyable!

Great lesson with Mapati! We learned about basic greetings and Mapati told me about the history of Swahili. We also learned about courtesies and agreement. Mapati has a nice style of teaching and the pace of the lesson was good!

Super lesson with Mapati! We reviewed the self-introduction that I prepared. Mapati pointed out where I mispronounced a word and helped me correct it. We learned more vocabulary about family members and jobs, which we used to create sentences. After that, we learned about common comparison words and made more sentences. Mapati comes up with a good lesson each time. Mapati has a really nice style of teaching and giving explanations without getting too complicated!
