Javier Rosas

It’s my third lesson with Javier!! He gives me a lot of opportunities to improve my speaking and pronunciation during our lessons 😆 his methods helped me to step out of my comfort zone to feel more confident and comfortable in conversing in Spanish. I am also learning to better create proper sentence structures and formulate questions. Muchas Gracias ☺️

I had my first lesson with Javi. He had prepared some introductory questions to go through, which made it easy to start and get to know each other. Javi was easy going and felt very trustworthy for a first time speaker. He gave me space to find the right word and corrections at the right level to help me improve. Looking forward to doing some more lessons.

Javier is a great teacher. I learn a lot, lessons are interesting and a lot of fun!

Javier is fantastic! I’m working with him to improve my Spanish and especially to understand Spain’s history, literature, and culture. Only one lesson so far but I’m looking forward to our next one. He is intelligent, patient, and calm, with a nice sense of humor. Highly recommended!

Javier is a very thorough teacher with great explanations about the use of words, of context of phrases whether they fit the same or different between English and Spanish, and he maintains the pace of the lesson while providing them. When I make an error in speech, he's quick to catch it and nice about correcting it, too. The materials provided are relevant, readable, and varied for interest!

I've found Javier's classes really helpful and enjoyable - he was able to find my level straight away and challenge me at this level in a very good way. His classes are a nice combination of conversation but also structured around the topics which he can see I need the most (for example different verions of past tense etc). This is based partly on what I asked for and what he could see was needed! He's very patient and corrects me at the right moments, while letting me try to say whatever it is I'm saying, which I think is the best way to tutor. Javier is also a very nice person who I genuienly enjoy chatting with, I really recommend him as a teacher!
