I have a long history of studying, teaching, and travelling! I studied French and Japanese at university, and I spent one year studying in Kyoto, Japan. Later, I worked at a campsite in the countryside of Dordogne, France, which was a wonderful experience that helped me improve my French and communicate with people from many countries. Now I live in Italy, where I’m studying for a Master’s degree in Linguistics. I love learning about other cultures, hearing travel stories, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. Outside of teaching and travelling, I also enjoy drawing and playing video games. I became an English teacher in 2022, after completing my TEFL course in France. Because I’ve learned several languages myself, I really understand how difficult it can be to speak. I often remember myself in my students’ positions and I try to teach in a way that feels supportive and relaxed. In my lessons, I adapt to your level and your goals, I’ll meet you where you are, without pressure or stress. I focus on understanding what you really need. There are so many resources to learn English, but sometimes the problem isn’t lack of support but something deeper, like how we think and feel while learning, or not being aware of our own process. I help you notice these blocks and work through them together.
