Hi there! I'm Di, and you can call me Joy too. I graduated from one of the top finance and economics universities in China, majoring in Economic-oriented English. I gained years of experience in finance roles at multinational corporations after graduation, and now I’m a language tutor.
I have a range of hobbies, including traveling, photography, watching movies, reading, writing, and playing the violin/ukulele. My passion for teaching grew from a core belief: language is more than a communication tool—it’s a cultural bridge. As a culture lover, I’m eager to share Chinese culture and learn about yours.
As an experienced language tutor, I excel at creating a relaxed, interactive learning atmosphere, and integrate diverse teaching tools to deliver immersive lessons. With well-designed engaging activities, I help students learn with joy and build confidence in oral expression.

Certificated Public Accountant - The Chinese Institute of CPA - 2020Pass the CPA Uniform Examination within 5 years. It includes 6 professional subjects (e.g., Accounting, Auditing, Taxation) and 1 comprehensive case-analysis subject. And gain 2 years of relevant work experience (e.g., in accounting firms, corporate finance) after passing the exam, then apply for the official CPA qualification certificate.
It is the legal qualification to practice accounting and auditing in China, which includes the right to sign audit reports for enterprises.

Learning Mandarin with Di Laoshi has been a great experience. She is a very dedicated and detail oriented teacher who always comes to class well prepared. I can truly feel how much effort she puts into preparing the teaching materials. Her explanations are clear, simple, and easy to understand, which makes learning Mandarin much less intimidating. She is a perfectionist in a positive way: everything is neat, structured, and well organized. Today, we studied HSK 4 Chapter 10, Text 1, and the lesson was delivered very clearly. Most importantly, her lessons are well measured and aligned with my goal of passing HSK 4, making that goal feel clear and achievable. 谢谢老师，下个礼拜见！
