Speak Spanish Naturally — Conversation Lessons with an Experienced Tutor Hiya! My name is Marina, and I'm from Northern Spain, specifically a region called La Rioja. I'm sure you’ve heard that name before because of our delicious wine! I live in London and have been working as a private teacher for the past four years, teaching Spanish to students from diverse backgrounds all over the world. I am also a professional interpreter and translator. I love languages, and I find it incredibly interesting how our native language shapes the way we perceive the world. Learning a new language is like changing the lenses in your glasses—you see the world from a completely different perspective. I am also interested on music, gastronomy, reading, travelling and cats! I consider myself very fortunate to be a teacher in London, as it gives me the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and languages from all around the world. As a result, I have developed a personalised teaching approach that considers my students' native languages. This helps me identify the challenges my students might face while learning Spanish, which in turn makes my teaching more effective and enhances their learning experience. I have experience teaching individuals and small groups, both in person and online.
