Hi! I’m Denise. I’m from Costa Rica, and my love of travel has taken me to live in more than eight countries in 3 continents. I’m a huge foodie and I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different cultures, which is why helping others communicate confidently has become so important to me.

I teach the way I like to learn: with honesty, real-life examples, and a bit of fun. After studying Hospitality, Law, and an MBA, I’ve experienced everything from amazing teachers to the ones that made time stop😴and learning what I like and I don't from that, is what shaped the way I teach today.

My lessons are built around you and the things you actually enjoy: music, movies, travel, business, food, politics, or anything that sparks your curiosity. I believe the best way to learn a language is through real-life context, not memorizing isolated phrases or words. We use your interests as the foundation of each class so the conversation flows naturally, and you learn vocabulary and expressions you can use immediately.
