I can't recommend Ellie highly enough. She recently helped me prepare for a presentation, carefully correcting my pronunciation and refining my wording and expressions. Thanks to her support and attention to detail, I felt much more confident going into the presentation! I was also able to review and learn from my mistakes easily thanks to the Google document she created, where we keep track of all corrections. I'm now continuing to practise with Ellie for future presentations. She always prepares personalised topics and activities that help me practise within my field, and during every lesson I learn new vocabulary, receive lots of valuable corrections, and keep building my confidence in speaking. Ellie is an excellent English teacher. We start every lesson with a pleasant small talk and everyday topics that arise naturally during the conversation. She is curious and genuinely interested in her students. She works in a very structured and systematic way, and every lesson has a clear purpose. In my case, she has been helping me prepare for a job interview in English, and she planned the entire process perfectly. What I appreciate most is that she is always well prepared. She always knows exactly what we are going to work on, and each lesson builds naturally on the previous one. Ellie remembers details from our conversations and is fully present during every lesson. I never feel like she confuses students or forgets what we have already covered. She is professional, experienced, and at the same time very approachable and supportive. It is such a delight to study English with Ellie! My expectations were to find a teacher who can help me sound more natural and authentic. Having a decent level of English, I struggled with finding one, because it’s not about grammar or syntax structures anymore Ellie is always prepared to follow the lesson structure, but at the same time she creates a safe space where you feel free to go with the flow. Her skills in sparking and directing a conversation are absolutely outstanding - Ellie knows how to gently guide you without any awkwardness I never thought I’d say it, but my favourite part of our lessons is when Ellie shares some feedback about mistakes I’ve made. Truly! Ellie’s approach is extremely professional and human, there’s just no room left for insecurities I could write two more paragraphs about how amazing Ellie is as a person, but honestly just book a lesson with her and see it for yourself :)
