Hi! My Chinese name is Jia Han and my English name is Maria. Please feel free to use either. I’m from Beijing and have lived in the U.S. for three years.
In our lessons, we will focus on practical, everyday Mandarin conversation. I will adjust the pace and materials to your current vocabulary level, and we will build your speaking step by step with useful words, sentence patterns, and real-life topics. Chinese tones are one of the hardest parts of learning Chinese. I understand how frustrating it can be when you know the words but the pronunciation does not sound right.
