My name is Maria Dimopoulou, I am Greek and I graduated from the Department of History, Archaeology and History of Art at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Also, I have a Master's degree in Archaeology, History and History of Art, and during my stay in Italy (4 years), I provided private lessons of English and Greek languages to adults, students and some pupils. In addition, I have completed a training seminar on teaching Greek as a second/foreign language from Panteion University in Athens.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I consider myself a teacher who combines strong professional skills with genuine human qualities, which allows me to create a positive, effective, and supportive learning environment. One of my greatest advantages as a teacher is my ability to understand my students not only as learners, but also as individuals. I am attentive to their needs, emotions, and personalities, and this helps me adapt my teaching approach to suit different learning styles and levels. I firmly believe that students learn best when they feel understood, respected, and encouraged. A key strength of mine is patience. All the knowledge that I have gained and will continue to develop, as learning is fruitful when it is continuous, combined with my patience, my communication skills, my team spirit, but also the adoption of experiential education tools and new teaching methods, have contributed to the better transmission of knowledge and to keeping the student's interest alive during the lesson. Although my teaching experience is about 2 years and I still have a lot to learn, I will be really excited to work in an environment with passionate people about Greek language.
