I'm a German native in my late 20s, currently living in Thailand and working in the creative field. Languages have been a constant thread through my life — I've learned French, Spanish, Italian, and Finnish over the years, and right now I'm working on Thai. When I'm not doing that, you'll probably find me watching films or reading.
I came to italki because I genuinely love introducing people to new things, and teaching German felt like a natural fit.

I don't have a fixed method I impose on every student. Some people want to jump straight into conversation; others want to work through a text or build up their reading first. I'm happy either way — my job is to figure out what actually works for you and go from there.
What I do bring is patience, and a learner's perspective. Having picked up several languages myself, I know how disorienting the early stages can feel, and I know that progress isn't always linear. I won't rush you, and I won't make you feel bad for revisiting something you thought you'd already nailed.
If you're a complete beginner or somewhere in the middle and feeling a bit stuck, I'd love to work with you.
Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
My sessions are conversational and relaxed. I don't follow a rigid structure — we'll spend the first session figuring out what you want to get out of learning German and shape things from there.
That might mean free conversation, working through a text, focusing on pronunciation, or just having someone to practice with regularly. I adapt to what's useful to you, not the other way around.
I'm patient, I explain the reasoning behind things rather than just correcting you and moving on, and I'm comfortable going back over something as many times as needed. No judgement, no pressure.
