Hi! I’m Simona, from Calabria — a wild, authentic, and still largely unexplored corner of southern Italy 🌲🐺🌅 I’m passionate about nature, animals (truly, I adore them!), and meaningful experiences. I believe that every day is an opportunity to grow, become a better version of ourselves, and practice kindness — because beauty and kindness can genuinely change the world. I’m also the author of the book “Per amor proprio”. ✨ My lessons are designed for students who already have a basic understanding of Italian and want to improve through real conversation, culture, and authentic connection. ⚠️ Please note: I don’t teach beginners (A1 level). Our conversations are relaxed, spontaneous, and enjoyable. I’ll guide you with engaging topics, helping you express your thoughts freely — even if you make mistakes. That’s part of the learning process. ⚠️ My lessons are for students with a basic level of Italian (no A1 beginners). In our informal lessons, we focus on building your conversational skills through a variety of engaging topics. We may also explore poems and personal growth texts. You’ll receive corrections and guidance to help you speak more naturally and confidently. Parliamo? 🇮🇹

Simona easily wins as the best language instructor I ever have. I can tell after one lesson. She comes with a lot of positive energy, enthusiasm, and an eagerness to help. She also does a great job preparing personalized materials for the class and after the class so that the student can learn as efficiently as possible. Importantly, I find her super interesting and easy to talk to. I feel grateful for the opportunity to learn Italian with her and suggest you work with her too!
