With every lesson I realize how many "boring" words to describe "boring" every day activities I was missing before starting talking to Satoko-san. In my experience, the textbook I studied with in the past was focused on student life, but since I'm an adult way past college time, I want to be able to say normal / everyday / "boring" things like hanging clothes out to dry or having to deal with new staff at my workplace. Textbooks have not helped me with that. But since I started talking to Satoko-san I feel that I am gradually becoming able to say these things because she is patiently teaching me and guiding me in the right direction.
