I have been meeting with Viri once per week for three weeks to practice speaking and have enjoyed every lesson. She provides great questions to stimulate discussion and includes interesting facts about Mexican culture.

Viri was very helpful and easy to talk to and I felt comfortable using my not-so-great Spanish -- so I know I will improve by talking with her!

Another great class. Viri is clearly an experienced teacher and is extremely well prepared. I’m sure she could teach students at any level. But I'm a total beginner and feel like her sessions are the best lessons I've had in Spanish on this platform!

Hablamos de muchos temas diferentes, como su interés en la lingüística, las diferencias culturales entre mi país y el suyo, y mis metas con el idioma. Si quieres perfeccionar tu español, Viri ha creado un espacio en el que no te sientes juzgado por cometer errores, son parte del proceso. ¡Tengo muchas ganas de tener la siguiente clase!

This was another excellent lesson. We practiced listening comprehension, reading, and pronunciation, and then Viri used the material to ask me questions and turn it into real conversation. As a beginner, I’m still surprised by how much conversation we can have in a full hour. What I appreciate most is that Viri keeps everything at a level I can understand. If I don’t understand something, she explains it using simpler Spanish, examples, or pictures instead of switching to English. The entire lesson stays in Spanish, but I can still follow and participate. It’s impressive how much listening, reading, pronunciation, comprehension, and conversation she can fit naturally into one lesson. Highly recommended, especially for beginners who want to start using Spanish from the beginning.
