Hello! I’m Dustin, a certified teacher of English and Russian as a foreign language with over 11 years of teaching experience. I studied at Moscow State University, where I earned my teaching certificate in Russian as a Foreign Language. I also lived in Russia for over seven years, working as an English teacher for multinational corporations and private schools while immersing myself in the language and culture every day. I now live in the United States, where I continue to teach languages and run a language learning cooperative with my colleague. I speak English (native), Russian (C2), and Spanish (B1), and I love helping others gain confidence and fluency in English and Russian.

Whether you’re learning English or Russian for travel, business, academic study, or personal interest, I’ll help you build a strong foundation and move toward confident communication.

My teaching is based on the communicative approach, that means we focus on using English and Russian in real-life contexts through speaking with purpose. I tailor every lesson to your goals and interests. We’ll work with authentic materials, real dialogues, and grammar presented in clear, practical ways. Lessons are relaxed, structured, and adapted to your pace. I also incorporate elements of American and Russian culture and everyday life so that you’re not just learning vocabulary, you’re learning how the language is really used by native speakers. In short, I help you build practical skills, not just theoretical knowledge, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
