Christina

It was the first lesson I had with Christina today and I enjoyed it a lot. She made detailed notes during the lesson for me to see correct sentences, new words and tones, which was very helpful. I like it when a teacher does that, because I can properly review the lesson contents after the lesson. Her spoken Chinese is also very clear and easy to understand. Our conversation was so fun that it almost made me feel like I could actually have a conversation in Chinese. I'd certainly recommend her to my fellow Chinese learners and I look forward to more lessons with her in the future.

I am so pleased to have found Christina. I was worried that I would not be able to replace my highly skilled previous teacher. Christinas' style feels natural, and she is thorough, and fun to speak with. In conversation her tones are always clear. Tones are repeated and reinforced as they come up, I feel like i am learning quickly.

I am so glad that finally Christina arrived here in Italki. It's thanks to her that I can speak Mandarin, she is fluent in English and really professional. It's been already 4 years that I have class with her and now that I don't have the possibility anymore of having live lessons this is an amazing opportunity. I highly recommend Christina if you find Mandarin language complicated and you are eager to find a nice and quick way to improve your speaking skills.

I’ve had over 15 lessons with Christina and she has been a fantastic tutor - very open to new ideas and ways of teaching and was able to adapt the lessons around my learning needs. I would definitely recommend Christina as a Chinese tutor for anyone wanting to learn Chinese.

As always, I loved her lesson structure today. Her lessons cover listening, reading, speaking, learning new vocabulary and expressions in a great balance and I learn a lot. Being able to review her great notes after the lesson is also a huge plus. She is very encouraging and helpful as well. Looking forward to our next lesson already!

Christina is not only patient but she makes the lessons fun and relatable. Today we discussed food and like/don't like which was fun because I learned how to talk about my own likes but also how to relate to the likes and dislikes of others! Plus it was a great opportunity to compare cultural notes both in terms of food I haven't tried, what is popular, and what is considered socially acceptable in situations like ordering in a restaurant. And this is only our third lesson! The review materials she provides have really helped me in working on sentence structure, tone, and flow. She's fantastic, I highly recommend working with her!
