Hello, it's Okan from Türkiye. I am 31 years old and my field is English Language and Literature. I work as a freelance translator and I enjoy teaching English and Turkish, but I prefer teaching my native language to foreigners first, that's why I wanted to become a teacher on this great website. I am into reading because it absolutely broadens one's mind no matter what. Doesn't matter what or how much you read, it helps you to develop your personality and get rid of your taboos. Besides reading, I'm a photography lover! I think it is one of the most relaxing and peaceful activities to do and it is also the best way to immortalize some special moments.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I can tell anything about my teaching background and translation history but it is you who will discover that by the time. I have to tell you that I am very talkative and open to help foreigners with Turkish language and help the others with English. I am patient, I love teaching Turkish and English. I prefer listening and speaking activities because I believe and I know that learning a language starts with listening. Even if a baby can't talk, they can listen to you and that is where language learning process starts. I prefer listening and speaking activities but we can talk about what you need and focus on the spesific need.
