Manami

My experience learning under Manami Sensei these past couple of weeks has been excellent. Her well-paced instruction and consistent use of interactive pair work has been incredibly beneficial. I feel I've made significant progress and learned a substantial amount in this short time.

Ms. Manami is knowledgeable about current events and brings them into conversation. Discussing and talking about them helps me utilize the Japanese I have learned and she corrects or provides Grammer and new vocabulary. It has been very helpful and provides a real and practical element to the classes.

I have learnt from Sensei for 3 months and I found her lessons are always interactive with a lot of practices. She rectified my mistakes with patience and care. That makes me getting more confidence in learning Japanese. 先生、ありがとうございました。

I've been studying under Sensei for the past two years, and I can say that my Japanese ability has improved by leaps and bounds. More specifically, you will get lots of speaking practice alongside reviewing material in class (reading and grammer practice) and a ton of writing practice outside of class as homework. Essentially her lessons cover all the bases you need (outside of Kanji studying which you may need to do in your own time) to become proficient in Japanese! I would definitely recommend Sensei to anyone that is genuinely looking to study Japanese and become proficient in the language!

Manami-san has a very clear and concise lesson structure that I find easy to follow. She also always provides helpful feedback and loves to chat about Japanese media. ありがとうございます

Almost 20 lessons learning Japanese with Manami-sensei, and I’m beyond impressed by how much progress I’ve made. She’s friendly, energetic, and very easy to talk to, which makes every lesson comfortable and engaging. What makes Manami-sensei's lessons truly stand out is how incredibly well prepared she is for every class: she is fully focused on the class, paying close attention to pronunciation, grammar, and questions. Every lesson is clearly prepared in advance, with all necessary materials ready to use—no minute of class time is wasted. Her explanations are always clear, and the materials she uses are top-tier, combining self-made resources with well-known textbooks. She also puts strong emphasis on homework, giving careful corrections and suggesting more natural Japanese expressions.
