After just a few sessions, I can confidently say Alex is exceptional. He doesn’t just teach—he diagnoses exactly where you are and builds a clear path forward. There’s a strong method behind everything he does, and you can feel the progress almost immediately. He’s sharp, structured, and incredibly perceptive—and at the same time, easy and enjoyable to work with. If you’re considering working with him, don’t overthink it. He’s the real deal.

I have been studying with Alex for many months now (nearly 1 year) and he is excellent. I could not recommend him and his methods enough especially for English-speaking students. :)

I'm sure that I'm often confusing Alex with the Spanish and Portuguese words I'm using, so thanks for the patience :-). It is helpful to force myself to speak Italian. Learning the grammar from scratch is a bit boring because everything looks so familiar but it's necessary to become aware of the differences between Italian and Spanish.

Alex is fantastic — well-prepared, good-humored, and genuinely thoughtful. Every lesson is engaging, whether we’re chatting, reading or tackling tricky Italian grammar. He has a real gift for breaking down complex concepts, gives helpful homework and feedback, and has endless patience for my questions. I’ve learned so much studying with him and always leave class encouraged and excited to keep going. Couldn't recommend him more!!!!
