I am an American ESL teacher, tutor, and comic artist. I have been a teacher since 2009. I taught public speaking and worked with special needs children before teaching English as a second language. I have lived in USA, South Korea, Spain, and Canada (where I currently live). I have been an italki tutor since 2017.

I am a very open and flexible teacher. I give grammar and pronunciation corrections as we go. Like most teachers on here, I focus on teaching through conversation. We will get to know each other so it becomes more personal as we go.
I have collected many online materials and resources that I like to use in class, but it's really up to you. If you have stuff you want to focus on, do not hesitate to share it and we can co-create the class together.

Practice makes perfect. I start every class with a loose warm-up. I use a lot of short videos (usually from YouTube) and articles that cover a lot of different topics (usually current events).
