Fantastic teacher. Really helpful from the start with grammar, conversational skills and any difficulties I have with any aspect of the language. The flashdecks for study post-lesson have been great for memorising things I'm trying to convey. Makes every lesson fun, relaxed and also interesting, I couldn't recommend more.

I thoroughly recommend anyone who wants to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their language learning to take a meta-learning lesson with William.

William‘s lessons are very helpful and really well structured. The flashcards are a great way to reflect on the lessons. So far I just started, but I would expect the lessons to also help a lot when you’re more advanced, as he is really good at catching errors and fixing them in the flashcards.

EXCELLENT. My lessons with William have been exceptionally high yield and simply phenomenal value for money! He is remarkably resourceful when it comes to language learning (in my case Swedish). I highly recommend a mix of “metalearning” lessons with the standard lessons, particularly when beginning to learn the language. His insights and advice regarding a variety of language learning resources have made a tremendous impact on my progress. Remember to saying “Give a man fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”? - When it comes to language learning William does both… really well.

I really enjoy lessons, they are very effective. I am very impressed with how good he is at asking new questions when the conversation is stuck. I am definitely not great at keeping a conversation going but he keeps asking new questions and seamlessly transitions into another topic without making it awkward and he makes you keep talking the entire time without making it feel like a chore.

I did the Meta Learning lesson with William since I have hit a plateau in my language learning journey, and it was such an insightful lesson. He really listened to my challenges and immediately presented research to help me understand and address them. He also takes notes for you so that you can focus on what he's saying. I look forward to trying a more efficient way of learning Swedish and to continue learning with William. I can recommend this lesson even for those who are no longer beginners.
