Native Portuguese teacher, certified with a Bachelor's degree in Portuguese Language and Literature and a Master's degree in Portuguese as a Foreign Language, with over 5 years of teaching experience. Fluent in English and Spanish. I just had my first lesson with Julio, and it was an amazing experience! He’s a fantastic teacher, patient, friendly and really knows how to make learning enjoyable. From the start, he made me feel comfortable speaking Portuguese, even when I wasn’t sure about my words. He took the time to assess my level and tailored the lesson to my needs, which I really appreciated. The class was interactive, well-structured, and full of useful insights. I’m really impressed by his knowledge and confidence in teaching. He explains things clearly and makes learning feel natural. I already feel more confident, and I’m excited to continue improving with his help. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great Portuguese teacher!

I had a great initial lesson with Julio. He's attentive, engaged and easy to talk to, and I felt totally comfortable conversing with him. While this first lesson was a less structured, wide ranging conversation about topics we're both interested in, I'm looking forward to digging deeper into specific topics going forward. I highly recommend Julio to others who are interested in learning or perfecting their Portuguese.
