I am a devoted cat enthusiast, sharing my life with Nikos, a charming Aegean rescue and source of zen. My background as a BJJ brown belt and powerlifter informs my creative pursuits—poetry and comedy in Norwegian and English. I explore the world through drone cinematography and a deep study of philosophy. As an educator, I foster an immersive, student-centered environment that prioritizes both competence and connection. My bespoke lessons feature my book series, The Adventures of Ragnar the Cat, which weaves storytelling into grammar for a truly engaging experience. In my practice, I emphasize practical competence by integrating communicative activities, roleplay, and real-world simulations. My goal is to create a learning environment where intellectual rigor coexists with genuine human connection—where students develop not only linguistic proficiency but also the confidence to use these skills beyond the classroom. My teaching style is dynamic and adaptable. Whether you prefer casual, spontaneous conversations or structured, goal-oriented sessions focused on vocabulary, grammar, or exam preparation, I tailor each lesson to your individual needs. I also develop my own materials, including reading texts and audio files designed to make learning accessible. What remains constant is a commitment to a positive, motivating atmosphere. I believe that humor and a good mood are essential foundations of linguistic mastery.

Had some technical issues with my laptop but Luca was lovely and it was a great first lesson. I was quite nervous as it’s been a while since I last practiced my Norwegian but he was very encouraging. I’m looking forward to my next lesson. :-)
