I help introverts and immigrants express themselves more confidently in English. I have been teaching English for 9 years.
I am from a small town in Arkansas, USA. I am an English teacher and a biologist. I love teaching English, studying linguistics, languages (Spanish, Russian, German), plants, herbs, animals, cooking, and traveling. I have been teaching online for 9 years.
As a teacher I am patient, kind, understanding, & encouraging. I also am a student (I speak Spanish. I understand a lot of Portuguese because of my Spanish background, & I just started learning Russian.) One of my strong points as a teacher is my ability to make students feel relaxed & comfortable, & this time this leads to increased confidence.
I especially enjoy teaching introverts and immigrants, as I have extensive personal experience in overcoming these specific challenges.

I have students at all levels, and I generally teach a bit differently depending on your level.
