My name is Simona, and I’m a certified language teacher specializing in Italian, English, and Spanish. I've been teaching since 2014, working with students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced learners.
I’m originally from Italy, but I’ve also lived and taught in England and Spain. My experience includes teaching Italian both in my home country and abroad, which has given me a deep understanding of how to support students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
As a teacher, I’m enthusiastic, focused, and passionate about helping others succeed. I bring a positive, creative approach to every lesson and set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge my students.Öğretmen Olarak Ben
I strive to keep my lessons engaging and dynamic, regularly varying interaction patterns to maintain a lively pace and ensure my students stay motivated. In my 2 years of teaching in two different countries, I have worked with learners of all ages—from young children to seniors—and from a wide range of racial and ethnic backgrounds.
My experience includes teaching English as a foreign language at the Cambridge Academy in Naples, and Italian as a second language to members of the US Navy, also in Naples. Currently, I teach English in public school classrooms here in Italy, where I continue to adapt my methods to meet the diverse needs of my students.Derslerim ve öğretme tarzım
I am committed to continuous learning, always seeking to broaden my knowledge and experience and explore innovative teaching methods. In addition to working directly with students, I truly enjoy developing new course materials, incorporating authentic resources and creating activities. Creativity is a core element of my approach—especially in writing and speaking. I encourage my students to use language creatively to express themselves. I'm particularly fond of free practice activities.

I am learning Italian with Simona and I cannot recommend her enough. Her passion for the language is truly infectious, making every lesson engaging and enjoyable. She has a remarkable ability to explain complex grammatical concepts with clarity and patience. Her lessons are fun with a great positive energy.
Her teaching methods are innovative and tailored to the needs of each student, incorporating a mix of traditional exercises, conversational practice.

Simona is an excellent teacher. I am getting prepared for CILS certificate, level C1, and I find Simona's lessons very helpful and motivating. She knows well how to make the lessons fun and easy to follow. I recommend her for those interested in getting a certificate or learning Italian at any level.

One of my priorities over the years has been to be more comfortable with Italian in hopes of actively using the language in daily life. Media and apps help, but nothing has been so empowering as working with Simona. She is engaging yet patient throughout each lesson, which are relaxed and conversational; this has given me confidence and disarmed the feeling of being out of my comfort zone. I also find I'm naturally using the language more and more as time goes by, which did not happen when I took Italian university classes years ago. If you're looking to truly utilize English, Italian, or Spanish, Simona will be invaluable for realizing your potential!
