Hello everybody, I am a professional German teacher for many years now. I would be glad to help you improve your German skills. I offer one-on-one and group classes. Furthermore, I teach the levels A1-C2 and prepare for tests and exams. I will share my screen during the lessons, so you can see everything that I write and show to you. In my lessons, I focus on grammar or conversational practice depending on your level and preferences. I try to give you the opportunity to express yourself in German and make it easy for you to learn new words and sentence structure. Pace and methods will be modeled to your own level.
We can work with a course book of your choice or one that I recommend.
I also prepare students for exams and tests.
The advanced students are free to choose a book or an article that I will read before class, and we can talk about the content in class.

Ich habe zwei Stunden bei Schmetterling gebucht, um mich auf mein Vorstellungsgespräch vorzubereiten. Ich fand ihre Unterstützung erstklassig. Sie hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben, mich auf alle möglichen Fragen vorzubereiten und mir Tipps für die bestmöglichen Antworten zu geben. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass ich nicht nur mit einem Sprachlehrer, sondern auch mit einem Jobcoach sprach. Ich kann Unterricht bei Schmetterling zur Vorbereitung auf Vorstellungsgespräche nur empfehlen!

The reason for my class was to prepare for a job interview in German, and she had already prepared a document with questions! Schmetterling gave me notes to practice and understand what to say, as well as tips on what the company is looking for and how to present myself. I felt relaxed during the lesson (which is rare, at least for me in this topic and in German), and much better-prepared thanks to her guidance, also I feel incredibly more confident speaking German.
