Ayman Fawy

Ayman works to make sure I understand what he is saying and will frequently talk about the Egyptian way of life. I compare it to the US and he helps me make those connections so I can understand the culture as well as the language better and how it is all interconnected. He is a great conversationalist and will keep the conversation going even when I am having a hard time coming up with things to say or the right words to say them in Egyptian Arabic.

We spoke about the weather most of the time. This was very helpful as I do not know most of the words associated with the weather so I learned a lot and took lots of notes. I'm looking forward to our next lesson.

I would definitely recommend Ayman as a teacher for someone else as well. He listens well and gives good feedback without making me feel bad or that I don't know enough. I appreciate that he gives me corrections and still speaks Arabic with me even when I don't know or understand some words.

Ayman encourages me by sticking to Arabic when speaking to me even when I don't understand some of the phrases and terms he uses. He always corrects me nicely as well. We spoke about vacations today and this was very useful as the summer is coming up and it will be nice to converse about summer plans.

Ayman was very helpful in listening and asking me questions so I could speak as much as possible. It is really helping my Arabic that he is patient and gives me corrections that I need as well.

Ayman stays with me speaking in Arabic even when I don't understand very well, which I appreciate so much. It is super helpful and it's the best way for me to learn to speak the language better. He corrects me when I say things wrong and gives me the correct word when I don't know it in Arabic as well. This is the best method to learn for me.
