Experienced Dutch / Flemish teacher Hello, I'm a Belgian mother of 2 grown-up sons, married to a German. I had an education as a chemical engineer but as we were moving around the world because of my husband's work, I had to reinvent myself. I made languages my hobby and started teaching languages. I especially enjoy being in touch with people from all over the world. My (other) hobbies are reading, traveling and gardening. When my children began going to school, I started looking for a job that gave me flexibility and put me in contact with people. Knowing various languages, teaching these seemed like a good solution. And I noticed that I was quite good at it and enjoyed it a lot. Wherever we were (USA, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, India), it was not too difficult to find students. I, of course, concentrate on the needs of the students. I have lots of prepared lessons : exercises on various grammatical subjects, texts on a variety of topics and for different levels. But I always adapt these to the requirements and wishes of the student.
